This notice explains what data the site sbustiamobro.it (PokèVerba) processes and why, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process
Browsing data
Like any website, the servers of our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically record some technical data about visits: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. It is used only to keep the site working and secure, and kept for no longer than strictly necessary. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Game progress
The crossword saves your progress, streak, collection and tokens (balance, achievements and quests) only in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device and we cannot see it.
Checking answers
When you press Check, your browser sends our server the date of the crossword and the letters you typed, to compare them with the solution (which is never sent to the browser in advance). These letters are not saved: they are only used to work out the answer. Show solution sends only the date.
To prevent abuse (too many automated checks), the server keeps a count of requests per IP address. It does not store the IP in clear but only a fingerprint encrypted with a secret key of the site (pseudonymous data), which is no longer used after 90 seconds and is deleted within 24 hours. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you write to us, we will use your address and the content of your message only to reply to you.
Authors of the posts
Blog posts are signed with the public name each author chooses in their profile, which may be a pseudonym, and published with their consent. We show no photos or other data about the authors. To change or remove a byline, just write to us.
What we don’t do
- We use no analytics or profiling tools.
- We show no personalised advertising.
- We neither sell nor pass on data to third parties.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server: no requests to external services such as Google Fonts.
- The crossword loads no resources from other sites: the game data is on our server.
If we introduce tools of this kind in the future, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before turning them on.
Providers
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., which processes technical data on our behalf as a data processor.
Your rights
At any time you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability of, or object to the processing of your data by writing to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Children
The site asks for no registration and collects no data to profile users, including children. If you are under 14, ask a parent before writing to us.
